Questions

Does anything leave my browser?

No. Folders, tags, notes and sessions live in chrome.storage.local. Local grouping runs entirely on your device. With BYOK, tab titles go only to the provider you configured — nowhere else.

Do I need an API key?

No. The default local model groups tabs offline, for free. Bring your own key (OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter, Ollama, LM Studio or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint) on Pro if you want sharper group names.

Can I undo a grouping?

Yes. Groups are regular Chrome tab groups, synced to virtual folders you can rename, open, or delete. Clean & save always snapshots the session before closing anything, and pinned tabs are kept.
